Gym Encounters and a Challenging Arm-Toning Workout!

I am not a fan of sharing a rack of dumbbells with others.  It's not shyness, it's just...wanting personal space, I suppose? You get a bunch of bulky men (usually) who are weaving in and out of each other toting enormous metal weapons in their hands. Being half their size doesn't help me establish any personal space. At least I don't have to share their 50lb dumbbells.
Today is Sunday, and I assumed that no one would be in the apartment's gym at 7am. There was only one other person there thankfully, but he was standing directly  in front of the two sets of dumbbells I wanted to use. I don't require much. The 10 and 15 pound dumbbells usually do the trick. So why was this man, who was mostly using the 25 and 30 lb dumbbells on the other side of the rack, standing in front of weights he didn't need to use? Honestly, he was perfectly polite. Each time we got in each other's way we said a quick 'sorry' and moved on. But really...he walked to one end of the rack, picked up his weights, and walked back to the other side of the rack to stand directly in front of the only two sets I was using.  I was standing awkwardly near the corner so I could place my weights down where they belonged without walking across the room. He did this throughout his entire  workout! Back and forth. There was a mirror on both sides of the rack...there was a bench on both sides of the rack. He wasn't doing intermittent cardio. I don't get it. I wanted to use my teacher voice and ask "How is this working for you? How can we make this better?" I mean come on. Move over.

But anyway...here is the workout I managed to complete while circling around the oblivious one. I used 15 pound dumbbells for most sets, but you should adjust as needed. The only exercise that requires an actual machine is the lat pull down. Sorry! If you don't have access to a machine, I suggest replacing them with another set of push ups :)

Throw in a plank at the end, just for fun :)
